Bio
Lisa Ramelow recently finished a successful 27-year run in the restaurant business. She served up Italian food, and always joked that she was “cheating” because she is not Italian and she cannot cook.
She never thought of her job as serving food; instead she considered it to be “mentoring young people” (her beloved employees).
For 10 years she has also been writing real-life stories about everything from her business, to community activism, to stories about her beautiful shoe collection. Her stories are well-followed, are written in an unpretentious style, and are told with love and humor.
Now that she has finished her restaurant career, she is busy putting her unique stories into book form. She resides in sunny southern California, and is always looking for joy and unique experiences to write about.
